Cancellation Policy
## PRIVATE EVENT RENTAL POLICY **Booking & Payment:** All events are subject to SoundSpace approval and are not confirmed until required payment is received. The renter must be 18+ and is responsible for the event and all guests. **Capacity:** Maximum occupancy is **30 people** and may not be exceeded at any time. **Event Time:** Your reservation includes the approved event time and access window. Setup, breakdown, and cleanup must occur within the scheduled time unless additional access has been purchased. **Cancellation:** Events may be rescheduled at least **7 days before the event**, subject to availability. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. **Overtime:** Events must end at the scheduled time. Additional time requires approval and may be charged at the applicable overtime rate. **Guests & Vendors:** The renter is responsible for all guests, vendors, performers, and contractors. Outside food and vendors are permitted with prior notice and must follow SoundSpace policies. **Alcohol:** Alcohol is not automatically permitted. Alcohol requires prior SoundSpace approval and compliance with applicable laws, permits, property rules, and insurance requirements. **Smoking:** Smoking, vaping, or burning any substance inside SoundSpace is **strictly prohibited**. **Decorations:** Decorations may not damage the property. Glitter, confetti, open flames, and hazardous or difficult-to-remove materials are prohibited unless specifically approved. **Music & Entertainment:** DJs, amplified music, performances, and entertainment must be disclosed and approved before the event. **Cleaning & Damage:** All personal items, decorations, food, and trash must be removed. The renter is responsible for excessive cleaning, damage, or missing property caused by themselves, guests, or vendors. **Prohibited Activity:** Illegal activity, weapons, unsafe conduct, unauthorized events, and activities that violate SoundSpace or building policies are prohibited. SoundSpace may stop any event that becomes unsafe, exceeds capacity, violates these policies, or materially differs from the approved event. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to the SoundSpace Private Event Rental Policy.
